The Craziesis a zombie movie with a twist. Instead of your usual blood, gore and nudity this movie actually has a story line worth thinking about. People of a small town are slowly starting to be infected and it takes over their body. At first, they're slower and have memory loss and do reckless things but that eventually progresses to homicidal maniacs, and some even kill or attempt to kill their own family, then they transform into mindless, brutal cannibalistic zombies. The government decides the best way to deal with this is to throw them into concentration camps, but it's Hollywood, so that obviously doesn't work out in their favor. The undead begin to escape because of the governments poorly set up camps and chaos ensues. Instead of rounding the zombies back up, the government takes matters into their own hands and begin to kill innocent civilians and lie about it. The government takes corruption to a whole new level, and they try to justify it by saying that they're saving the rest of the country. Regardless if there were zombies or an infection, there are still innocent people out there, and the governments job was to protect them, not annihilate them. I think that this portrayal of the future tells us that we can't rely on the government for protection, honesty or anything else because they only look out for themselves and their images.
